A. To the best of seller’s knowledge, said puppy/dog is in healthy and sound condition at the time of owner taking full possession. New owner was given the puppy/poodle vaccination/worming record. You, the owner(s) must have the puppy examined within 72 hours by their vet after taking full possession. You, the owner(s) has 72 hours from the time of delivery/pickup of this health guarantee.
****You, the owner(s) is required to give, or have a licensed veterinarian, administer the remaining puppy vaccines to said puppy/poodle. Parvovirus and distemper vaccines must be given on dates of health record, following first vaccines given by breeder. If buyer fails to continue vaccines as stated above, the parties agree that any guarantee will be considered null and void. Keep shot records from your vet, or receipts from purchase of shots. *****
B. All puppies/dogs are PET QUALITY only, this does not mean they are, or are not show/breed quality, and will be spayed/neutered if limited registration.
C. Health guarantee does not cover any parasite, internal or external as this is a treatable condition. All costs are the responsibility of you, the owner(s)
D. This puppy has had a veterinary health check on __________ and has been deemed healthy by my licensed Veterinarian. This puppy is guaranteed to you, the owner(s) for the life of the puppy/poodle against the genetic diseases the parents were tested for and cleared of. If puppy/poodle has been found to been diagnosed with a genetic disease (verified by 2 licensed Vets) and sire and dam of said puppy/poodle were not tested for the genetic disease, Hessler's Poodles will test the sire and dam to check if they are a carrier. If parents test clear for the test preformed, the health/genetic guarantee is VOIDED
***Hessler's Poodles does not, and cannot, guarantee against Addison’s disease on the grounds that there is no genetic/pre-screening/pre-breeding test for the poodles (unless the sire or dam is currently affected), and that Addison’s Disease can be a common illness affecting the Standard Poodle as a breed. We are not responsible for any treatment cost and cannot refund or replace puppy.
***Hessler's Poodles does not, and cannot guarantee your poodle will not develop dysplasia. Even though the sire and dam are clear of it, I am no longer responsible for puppy and its activities after new owner takes possession. Dysplasia is also environmental and not just genetic. If you desire more information, please look on my website.
E. Whether the puppy/poodle was for pet only or for breeding/show purposes, if this puppy/poodle is found to suffer from a genetic/hereditary disease despite the sire and dam being tested clear, and it is found to be life threatening at the time of examination by 2 licensed Vets, and is documented to significantly shorten the puppies/poodles life, and/or decrease quality of life, the original puppy/poodle can be returned to Hessler's Poodles (if the owner chooses) in order for a replacement puppy/ poodle of equal or lesser value to be given when available. If you the owner(s), chooses to keep the puppy, despite any disease/ailment, (contact me for this information) Documentation of the illness must be given from 2 licensed veterinarians. The written allegations must be supported by x-rays/conclusive testing and then concurred with through evaluation by a Veterinarian of the Breeders choosing. The costs incurred to support that the puppy/poodle has a serious genetic problem(s) rests with the puppy/poodle owner(s). Hessler's Poodles is not responsible for ANY cost concerning the puppy/poodle if you, the owner(s)decide to keep the puppy.
F. Unfortunately we must include the following: In the case of the puppy's demise that was not caused by neglect or abuse on or before the listed date of this contract, (72 hours from purchase) a written statement from your veterinarian must be sent to Hessler's Poodles, stating that the puppy has indeed passed away, and the cause of death. This is an unfortunate step but necessary. Hessler's Poodles has the right to decide whether or not a replacement puppy will be given.

You, the owner(s) are given the puppy/poodles updated shot/worming record. Should your puppy become ill after it leaves Hessler's Poodles (within 72 hours), and your veterinarian determines that the illness came from Hessler's Poodles, we will require that our take puppy/poodle to another vet for a second opinion before we take the puppy back. As responsible breeders, we cannot take back a sick puppy/poodle if the sickness did not come from our home for fear it could spread and make our other puppies/poodles sick. If vets determined puppy/poodle had sickness before leaving our home, we will refund your monies all but the non-refundable reservation deposit. If sickness was confirmed by vet the puppy/poodle was not ill before owner taking possession, Hessler's Poodle is not responsible for any cost concerning the puppy/poodle. It is the responsibility of the owner(s).
We require and request that your puppy is not exposed to other animals that have not or not sure has had all it needed vaccinations, walks in parks, or rest areas, or any areas stray animals may roam until your puppy has received all of its vaccines at 16 weeks of age and is fully immunized. Please wait few days after last vaccines for them to take effect.
**The Parvovirus is only a vaccine to help prevent your puppy/poodle from contacting the illness, but it is not 100% guaranteed that puppy/poodle cannot contact the illness.
